Course Description
- This course will cover the fundamental concepts of mechanics, specifically focusing on the study of forces and their effects on objects.
- The course will begin by introducing the concept of a moment of force and how it is used to calculate the rotational equilibrium of an object.
- Students will learn about the principle of moments, which states that the sum of the clockwise moments about a point is equal to the sum of the counterclockwise moments about that point.
- Additionally, the course will cover the concept of the center of gravity and how it relates to the stability of an object.
- Students will learn how to determine the center of gravity of an object, as well as how to analyze and understand the stability of an object in different conditions.
- The course will also cover equilibrium conditions and how they relate to the stability of an object.
