- When learning to read maps, you will develop spatial skills, such as the ability to use coordinates and scale.
- Coordinates, such as latitude and longitude, can help you pinpoint a specific location on a map.
- Scale, often represented by a ratio or a bar scale, can help you determine the distances between two points on a map.
- With these skills, you will be able to navigate and understand the world around you with greater ease.
