Heuristics for Young Problem Solvers

Course Description

This course introduces Primary 2 students to the world of heuristics, teaching them how to use creativity and insight to solve math problems. Students will learn the fundamentals of heuristics, including “guess and check” and “working backwards” methods, while understanding the core concepts behind them. Through engaging exercises and activities, students will learn to apply heuristics to various situations, fostering critical and creative thinking skills.
